Gino Marra has today resigned from his director’s role with the Australian Association of Football Clubs (AAFC) to focus on the bid to bring an A-League club to the entire South-West Sydney region.
“I’m committed to helping produce the strongest A-League bid possible for the entire community of South-West Sydney,” said Marra today.
“This football heartland and the wider community is huge and growing, and they deserve their own A-League club.
“That’s where my focus is now,” he said.
The Chairperson of the AAFC Rabieh Krayem wished Marra the best.
“Gino has recently tended his resignation as he has indicated he wishes to devote his time and attention to an A-League bid. We thank him for his commitment and time and wish him all the best.”
